Hapman's new low profile sack tip station is an efficient method to introduce bagged products into a process without dust. It has a self-contained filtration system with 99.9% collection efficiency down to 1 micron. No external ducting, auxiliary fans / filters, or make-up air is necessary. The dust collection plenum can be used as a component attached to existing equipment such as a blender charge port, or as part of a system using a hopper and one of Hapmans 3-choices of conveyors. It features a low maintenance pulse-jet clearing system with a single, easy access filter cartridge. Overall height closed is just 1.3 m and in the open position the lid can be reached at 1.9 m making it an excellent choice for average height employees. It is available with portable or stationary bases and may be specified in standard or sanitary construction and can also be attached to standard hoppers with 0.72, 0.9, and 1 m square openings. A long list of options to increase processing rates is also available including agitators, vibrators, aerators, sensors, and control systems. A stainless dumping grate, coupled to a power cut-off switch for operator safety is standard. A new brochure is also being made available detailing all of its features and benefits.
