Helix XL™ Auger

Hapman's new Helix XL^TM* flat wire auger features a "radiused contact edge". It is an innovation that allows the conveyor to operate with less friction (similar to round wire augers), greatly extending the service life of the conveyor casings and reducing the amount of foreign material which may be introduced into the production process. In addition, increased conveyor speeds, higher volumes and lower power requirements (over typically flat wire augers) are possible. And, with a Hapman Helix XL^TM the superior product flow of a flat wire auger, can be maintained while reducing down time and maintenance cost. The Helix XL^TM auger is now standard in all Hapman Helix^TM screw conveyors, up to 12 m in length, and is being offered as an OEM replacement part for competitively manufactured flexible screw conveyors.
